US Gymnastic Duo

If any of you have been watching the Olympics on prime time, then you have probably seen the gymnastics competitions. There has been a lot of controversy about the women's team from China not being old enough to compete. While watching the competitions, I have found myself becoming frustrated with the scoring of the girls on the China team. Last night, during the individual all-around competition, it was no different. I was fully expecting Yang Yilin and Jiang Yuyuan of China to come out on top because of all the scoring frustrations. Thankfully, Jiang Yuyuan did so poorly, there was no hope for her. No matter how good (or bad) the two from China were, the duo from the US was much better. There was no stopping Nastia Liukin and Shawn Johnson. They seemed to be on fire from the beginning. They said that they wanted the US to go 1-2 and they put up quite a fight. After all the hardships they had during the team competition, they proved that the US is the best!
